Global Conference on Health and Lifestyle in Primary Care

Geneva, Switzerland

July 6-8, 2009

Objectives 
1. To define therole of faith-based organizations in the intensification of support for the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), for the World Health Organization’s Alma Ata Initiatives, the US Healthy People 2010, the European Health Initiatives (EHI) and Medium Term Strategic Plans (MTSP).
2. To facilitate the growth of existing and new partnerships in healthcare delivery.
3.  To equip healthcare workers to utilize evidence-based lifestyle practices in improving the health of their community.
4. To show a relationship between lifestyle and primary healthcare.
5.  To define current standards of care and best practices.
