Passport and Visa

Participants will need a Schengen Visa for Switzerland and France.

 

Language

English is the official language of the conference. The plenary sessions and workshops will be presented in English.  There will be German. Spanish, French and Russian translators for the Plenary Sessions but not for the Workshops. Workshops will be in English only.

 

Meals

The reception meal at WHO is fully booked. We are excepting no more reservations.

July 7 - 11

After you have registered, sometime in May we will send information on purchasing meals at the UNI-MAIL building for July 7-11.

Airport: Geneva International Airport

The nearest airport to The Conference Venues is in Geneva. If you need transportation to your Hotel in Geneva for July 6-8 take a Taxi or pick up a free bus or train pass in the Baggage Claim area, Before you Exit. It is good on the bus for area Hotels or a train passes to Central Station. From the Station you can catch a bus to area Hotels. Remember it is good for 80 minutes from the time you pick up the ticket until you board the bus or train.

 

Currency needed for meals and incidentals

You will need Swiss Francs for purchases made in Switzerland. and Euros In Collonges,and Archamps France, ATM ‘s are available at UNI-MAIL.

 

Insurance needs

We strongly urge taking out Travel and Medical Insurance. You are responsible for any medical needs from doctors, hospital, clinic or other emergency travel needs.

 

Children

We will not have the facilities or the personnel to provide baby-sitting or age-related education for children and teens, although some teens will be interested in the material and may register and attend. There will be a workshop for children’s education specialists, which some teenagers may find interesting and educational.

 

Dress

This is July and can be warm. The evening could be cool. At the conference you are invited to dress business-causal, as is comfortable for you.
